Dr. Bradley Kovach, O.D. has been an Associate Eye Doctor with Ali & Patel, Doctors of Optometry since 2021. Beginning in mid-2026, he is proud to continue the care that Dr. Patel and Dr Ali have provided for over 20 years within the San Luis Obispo Costco under the new practice, Kovach Coastal Optometry. Dr. Kovach, O.D. grew up in Gilroy, CA, and developed a passion for eye care at an early age while watching his dad, a local optometrist, care for and connect with his community. Dr. Kovach O.D. received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at California State University, Monterey Bay, and went on to study at Southern California College of Optometry. With SCCO, Dr. Kovach O.D. served as the president of the Private Practice Club, won the VSP Practice Excellence Scholarship, and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Upon graduation, Dr. Kovach, O.D. relocated to San Luis Obispo, where he has practiced with Dr. Syed Ali, O.D. and Dr. Urvi Patel, O.D.. While working with Ali & Patel Doctors of Optometry, Dr. Kovach has gained significant experience in primary care, medical eye care, and myopia management. Dr. Kovach O.D. and his wife, Maggie, have fallen in love with the Central Coast, involving themselves heavily with local events and community-focused organizations.
